Pillowfort Update 3/19/21

Staff has released updates today on the official PF Twitter and Tumblr accounts.

The main announcement is that Pillowfort will return in April and that the new security consultant has been hired.

They've also posted a Q&A about the status and future of the site. It answers questions about PF's downtime, the length of its time in beta, and its dependence on continued donations.

That's somewhat good news, in that they're still expecting it to be April. However if the audit hasn't been done yet, I don't know why they're not mentioning what else they've been working on in the past 8 weeks.

They did say they've "finished the onboarding process to hire a security consultant to conduct an evaluation of the site". Between them all being part time and that, probably that's a lot of it.
